We are recruiting volunteers
TEDx is built by volunteers who care about ideas and community. If you love planning, people, details, storytelling, or logistics, there is a place for you.
To express interest, email with your cv and what inspires you to join the group.
Open planning roles
- Director of Operations: Runs timelines, task tracking, volunteer coordination, and day-of-show readiness.
- Director for Volunteers: Recruits and schedules volunteers, manages roles, and supports training.
- Sponsorship and Partnerships Lead: Builds sponsor packages, outreach, and partner relationships.
- Marketing and Communications Lead: Website updates, social content, newsletter drafts, announcements.
- Design Lead: Visual identity, simple graphics, slide templates, print and signage needs.
- Production Lead: AV coordination, staging needs, run of show, speaker mic and lighting basics.
- Speaker Experience Coordinator: Speaker logistics, check-ins, rehearsal scheduling, green room flow.
- Community Outreach Lead: Local outreach, nominations, community relationships, audience growth.
- Finance and Budget Support: Tracks expenses, invoices, and simple budget reporting for planning.

About TEDxSaskatoon
TEDxSaskatoon is a locally organised TEDx event that brings new ideas, meaningful stories, and community conversations to the stage.
The event is licensed through TED. The licensee will serve as curator and lead organiser, and will train the speakers.
